Sandilands
Restaurant & Reception Centre have recently refurbished
the upstairs rooms of their beautiful establishment. Now,
not only can you experience fine food and wine in one
of Portland's oldest buildings, you can also enjoy the
Ensuite Studios and 3 Bedroom Apartment accommodation
on offer.
Ensuite
Studio
Sandilands' ensuite studios (offering harbour views) are
located one block back from the beach. These spacious
studios are located upstairs in our historic building
and feature all the modern conveniences while retaining
the charm of yesteryear. Two studios can accommodate an
extra person (futon). All studios are equipped with reverse
cycle heating/cooling, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities,
electric kettle & toaster, hairdryer, electric blanket,
clock radio, bedside lamps, television, access to wireless
internet.
The Queen size beds feature quality mattresses, linen
and cosy doonas.
Three studios share a communal lounge /dining area with
access to a fridge, microwave and grill. A barbecue is
located downstairs for the convenience of all guests.
All studios are non-smoking. Provision for smokers is
located downstairs.
Sandilands Restaurant, located downstairs, is renowned
for its wonderful seafood and steaks. The perfect place
to entertain your guests and business associates. A Continental
Breakfast basket can be organised or alternatively Sandilands
has book back facilities available at a local café.

Bedroom Apartment
This apartment is ideal for friends and families.
Two bedrooms feature queen size beds, fully equipped with
quality mattresses, linen, electric blankets, clock radios,
and cosy doonas. The third bedroom features a double bunk
with a single bunk above. This room is suitable for children
or adults who are willing to share a room.
A futon, located in the open plan lounge/dining area,
can sleep an additional child or couple. The apartment
is equipped with two televisions, a stereo, dvd and a
six piece dining setting. Also located in this area are
a fridge, electric cook top and oven, electric kettle,
toaster, microwave and a wide array of cookware.
The spacious bathroom features a hair dryer, two handbasins,
two toilets (separate rooms), and a large shower (separate
room). A laundry is housed in this area and features a
washing machine, clothes dryer, iron and ironing board.
A communal outdoor barbecue and outdoor tables and chairs
are located downstairs. Fully self- contained, this apartment
is serviced after each booking or on a weekly basis for
longer stays. This apartment is suitable for extended
stays.
A 4th bedroom and 2nd bathroom can be added to this apartment,
extra charges apply.
